Earthquake in Turkey

This morning I read bad news. Turkey got hit by massive earthquake. Scale show 7.8. This earthquake happend very, very rare. Casualties number grow with hour and damage is gigantic. It happend in early morning when people still sleep. Earthquake was so strong so many nearby countrys felt it to - Syria, Israel, Lebanon, Greece, Iraq.
In my country we had big earthquake few years ago and we still didn't manage rebuild everything.

Do we users from Turkey here? I hope they are ok.

It has been devastating. The latest figure from news is quite disturbing. The death toll has risen to 647 as of now and we fear that it migh increase as the rescue operation is still underway. Almost 900 buildings have collapsed to rubbles.

Number of deathes increased over 5000. First news say it is worst in Turkey but looks Syria didn't past nothing better. I think they will get even less help since there is active citizen war and rare people will jump in help in war zone. Maybe this situations stop wars on this planet.

I just checked the news and the death toll touched 5000 mark. The visuals are upsetting.. they fear that many might still be stuck there.. Unfortunately, the numbers might increase. Many are injured but the hospitals and hospital facilities are badly effected too. It's sad.

I guess both countrys need mobile hospitals and medical care. Also heavy equipment and tractors to clear buldings and roads. Also SUV cars are better than compact if they drive on roads which are not clear. Electric grid should be fix as fast it can so people can turn heating on this winter degrees.

I learned through internet and TV news about the terrible tragedy of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, since yesterday. Currently the balance of this catastrophe speaks of over 7200 dead. Among the missing persons there is also an Italian citizen.

Last I checked the number of deaths was at over 7200. I have been following this story and I will admit, it is an awful thing to see. Something that can not really be predicted and that people can not really be warned about caused all this damage and loss of life and it's an awful thing to see. I saw yesterday a video of a man who was crying and shouting for his children that were trapped in the rubble of buildings that had collapsed. I can not imagine what families are going through right now after something like this happens. All we can do is send them as much help as we can and pray or them at this point and even then, it never really does seem enough.

The visuals are upsetting. It's heartbreaking to see those who have suffered and lost everything in the life in a blink of eye. Life is d unpredictable and can be so cruel.
Prayers and thoughts are with them. Countries have come forward to help them in every possible way. Humanity needs to stand together with these effected countries.

In the latest update about such earthquake, it seems that the number of victims exceeds 11,000.

Yes, the death toll has exceeded more than 11 K and we fear that there might be more. Search operations are still underway and some more bodies might be trapped under the rubbles. Search teams from other countries have also joined to expedite the operation. It's a nightmare to see the visuals of the devastation.
