Is employee morale important? My answer is, Yes. There will be multiple reasons why employee morale is important. Once an employee is having this, she or he will be happy in his or her work. In general, happy employees showed their hard work thus showing high productivity. They are engaged with high productivity because they are happy employees, contented, and do not entertain a toxic environment. They just work. Absenteeism will decrease leading to high turnover of the business. The business operators will also be inspired to attend to his employees' needs because they never feel tired working. Others may find it insanity to work at the same pace and place. Those employees with high morale will be rewarded.

Sure, the morale of employees mudt be boosted as they would bring high productivity because they are happy and contented with their jobs and do not entertain a toxic environment.

That is right, employees with high morale tend to give the company high turnovers whereas those with low morale will be a disaster. They will leave the company with a bad reputation and once they apply to other company their recommendation will be poor.

That's right I totally agree with you. A good boss must think about how to increase employee morale, because good input will produce good output. Don't let a boss only demand good output, without willing to sacrifice for the sake of employees.

Yes, that's how it is, unfortunately not all bosses think like that. He likes to be arbitrary with employees, even though without employees the company will not run well. A boss cannot manage his own company without the help of employees.

@astutimeliana723, there are indeed bosses that manipulate their employees. I was a victim of this. My boss before manipulated his workers by attending the gatherings of their church where he was a Pastor. The church was a born-again church and he knew well that 97% of his employees are Roman Catholics and that includes me. So, many resigned including me. We lost our respect to him.
