Ever fought for love?

I heard you fight for what you love if it isn't in your reach. But can you ever fight for "love". For me I don't think I can ever fight to get hurt .

There are limitations on sacrifice for the other person they must have to be something reasonable and can do not doing anything because there may be surprises if there is high expectations.
