I think this has to do more with the governments than with any other factor. Governments are the ones that give them licenses and permits to operate in areas that are residential.
But why would someone even open a factory close to a residential house? It is common sense to know that factories should not be close to residential properties. I would sue such factory to court and get huge compensation pay.

That's why no one should site a factory on residential areas. There are places called industrial areas in my place. That's where all the factories stay and compete on polluting themselves .
I think people should try as much as possible to avoid living in those kind of areas because a lot of pollution will be coming out. The government should actually make a law against people living there.

It is not the responsibility of people to avoid pollution from factories unless they are living in industrial areas which I don't think any right thinking person would do. The challenge is factories being set up in residential areas.

Its no new news that most of the factories out there are the cost of most of the environmental pollution, what policies do you think should be put in place in other to reduce this pollution?
This is why I sometimes advise that they should not stay in an area where too much people are living so that they will not affect the people's health

Air pollution is everywhere and it is one of the environmental issues that need to be addressed this I think the government should make strict rules against these factories.to avoid this.

One of the policies that have been made in order to take care of industrial pollution in my country is to make sure that no Industries will be closed to people's home.

As it stands now in my state, there is a section called industrial area. If you enter that place, the noise alone from different machines can make to u deaf. People working in those factories are constantly on headsets.

I think the government will not even allow that because it does not really make sense. If factories are set up in residential areas it will really affect the health of the people living around there.

Some people still set it up and when the people try to report. The factory owners bribe their way through and continue operating in these residential areas. I have seen this happen.

I think this mostly happens in countries where there is high level of corruption among government officials. If the government really meant well for the country that will not allow such to happen.

Applying and enforcing strict environmental regulations and standards is essential for reducing pollution from factories. Governments should establish comprehensive legislation that sets limits on emissions, waste disposal, and resource consumption.

When you search then you will find that China has largest numbers of factories in the world so it's contribution in pollution is on top most. In my city there are so many factories even after giving big bribes the factories are operating in residential area too.

Factories contribute to the country's economy, therefore, you cannot stop them from being operational. However, factories contributing to pollution is a huge problem. The only way this can be handled is by asking them to install mechanism that controls pollution

One effective way to tackle pollution from factories is by encouraging the adoption of cleaner production technologies. This includes the installation of pollution control devices such as electrostatic precipitators, scrubbers, catalytic converters, and advanced filtration systems.

I think that factories should gradually phase out the production methods that cause pollution and adopt methods that help conserve the environment. Global warming is real and we need to sustain the environment to keep surviving and doing business.

Businesses need to recognise the importance of sustainability and take proactive steps to protect the environment for future generations. By making these changes now, we can work towards a cleaner, healthier planet for all.

Industrialisation has contributed a lot to pollution. This has been having really bad impact on the planet earth. I just hope that humanity may develop some kind of technology that that can help reduce pollution to some extent.
