I have never. I only got punishments. Mum loved buying me stuff I mess up she takes them away. She bought me a phone, minute I messed up she took it and sold it, I cried the whole week.

You should have used the word "beat" because "flog" or "flogging" is too harsh a word to use in this context, and no mother will do that ever.

It's always going to be when you're a kid that your parents would flog you. I was stubborn when I was a kid and I got flogged a lot.
