Do you like running forums or blogs? Well, I have forums as well as blogs, I have more experience running blogs compared to forums and I think forums are better because there is day yo day human interactions.

It is very simple. Buy hosting and domain. With softaculus installer install forum software with few clicks. After that add plugins and theme. That it is in short steps. Tutorials on youtube and official documentation are free.

If you have money to invest,buy Xenforo and install on your server. If you want to try free, try SMF, it is one of the best software to build forums for free

I enjoy running forums much more. Interacting with others keeps me motivated. When it comes to blogging, I feel like I'm talking to myself most of the time.

Running forums is better for the webmaster, they get more leverage though it is more time consuming and it may be difficult to get members.

I do not own a forum neither do i own a blog so i do not know the one i would prefer running. I feel like a blog would be easier to run than a forum though.
