Cool really like the idea of garage sales but the idea is not that common in Southeast Asia, at least not in my country. Since people might be skeptically with the legitimacy of the goods and they can't actually get a refund if they encounter an issue with the product. So, in my country, there are apps where users can take photos of items that are pre-owned and resell it on the platform for other people to purchase if they like it. The process is really simple and in this way, both owners and sellers are connected digitally as they are able to chat with each other. The goods can be delivered via meeting up in person or mailing to the buyer. Really simple and cool. The app is called Carousell. (not a promotion lol)

Good luck to you on that particular garage-selling. My nice too was able to raise enough money for her trips from her garage selling. I may have a garage-selling affair next year. I have to sort out first the contents of my dressers and shoe cabinet.

This is for sure good as long as they are large amount of stuff they are not using. It will help them declutter things they don't use and at the same time, it will help them earn extra bucks.
