Actually it is easier to get page views on quora compared to other websites. Though I spend a lot of my time promoting my websites, writing content, I rarely get more that 300 page views for my main websites. In contrast for answering few questions daily for about 10 days , I got 1976 page views on one day.

That's a good point that you have made. It would be easier. You have to promote and market your personal website on various platforms to get the traffic. But you need not put that much effort on Quora. It's quite popular site and when some one seeking the answer would come, they will automatically land on your answer. Getting 1976 views in a day is great, but the threshold of one million is very high. It would be lot of effort before you are upgraded to earning account.

As far as I know, quora earning program is invite only. IN other words, only the members who are invited by the admin of quora will be eligible for earning. Anyone can correct me if I am wrong/.
