Taking surveys was among the firsts activity I did to earn money online. Actually my first dollar was earned from a spin to earn game but the site didn't pay my second payout request so I stopped and concentrated on taking surveys. It's actually not easy to do surveys especially that most survey sites don't give points if you are screened out. I am still taking surveys now but concentrated on a few.

I've done online surveys for a number of years. I've only worked with a few sites which are legitimate, offer surveys frequently and the minimum threshold is reasonable.

I understand some survey sites are unfair. I had mobrog before. I stopped after getting paid because I don't like them anymore and I found better survey sites. Rakuten is good, because you still get points if screened out plus when they screen you out they do it soon so you won't be wasting time. Threshold is also low and can cash out after hitting 1000 pts which is equivalent to 3 surveys.more or less.

You need to switch from surveys to offers. Offers pay you money because they are medium between advertiser and earner but what is the benefit of someone to get people opinion except he is willing to do chargeback after survey like CPX Search.

Oh wow I didn't know this as my region don't even allow me qualified for a survey
What I dislike most in surveys is after answering some questions, they just stop you by telling, sorry you are bt qualified to do surveys. There was a time I debated with the site owner and marked their site spam.
I agree that they are unfair liars and judgemental, but the money they pay me spends just as easy as getting it from my bank. I just don't let their personality get under my skin and take all the cash they will give me. No kidding, I have made thousands of dollars taking surveys in the last 15 years and I don't lie.
You are lucky because you are an American. Survey sites mostly prefer Americans. Congrats on all your survey earnings. You deserved.

I got most of my online earnings from surveys. I am lazy to post and discuss topics whereas in surveys I just answer questions.
I also dislike surveys because it's Hard to keep answering same question again and again and there is High possibility of getting disqualified from the surveys.

I understand some surveys disqualify after letting the respondent answer several questions. This is true for attapol and they don't give credits.
Most surveys are are scams and time wasters. I don't do surveys because am from third world country and most surveys sites don't have surveys for us.
I have been disqualified most of the times and this is why I am not confident in earning from surveys.
It's not worth it. You won't make that much money and it'll give you no future lessons or experience to utilize in the future.
