Giving a speech

Have you ever had to give a speech in front of a large group of people? How did it go?

Used to be bad for me, but I have learned that it is easier to give them over time, but still is a little nerve wracking all the same.

During our college days we deliver different types of speech in our public speaking subject.

I do especially in events that I need to motivate people. I'm good at doing that.

Yes, I always deliver a speech. I am a member of the ToastMaster's Club and we always deliver a speech and also delivered a speech during an assembly of the Catholic organization.

Yes life must go on despite of many challenges in life.

When I was working full time, I worked in the marketing department, responsible for promoting products. We sometimes organized conferences for product launch. I had to do presentations to a large audience quite often.

I have anchored shows such as Christmas parties for kids and seniors. I also raised a toast for my nephew a few years. I have no issues with public speaking

I have given speech in a group of about 100 people. Does this count as a large group?

I don't think it is much of a big deal having to make speeches in public. I have done this several times. I have to say that it used to be full of tension for me when I first started.

Yes, I've had to give speeches and presentations in front of large audiences on few occasions. It's never easy battling those nerves, but I've found that thorough preparation and knowing my material inside and out helps tremendously.
