Google Analytics or some other tool?

Google Analytics often is show as best tool for following traffic stats. Lately looks some country block it since Google collect to much informations about us and share it with other service and companys without our knowledge.
Good alternative are Statscounter and Histats. Both provide many data for free even they have premium options.
I have Analytics on my site but I may consider going on some other tool.

Do you always use Analytics or you tried something else?

I do not use Google analytics on most of my websites, I rely on awstats and also the data provided by ad networks. The ad network also pay a small amount for the visitors

Ad networks usually only count the number of human visitors, while awstats also counts the number of bots, so it is not very accurate

Yahoo or Google bot are good since it mean you site will be better ranked. I think Analytics exclude those.

I normally tend to go with Google Analytics because it's the most well-known web traffic statistics service. With this being said, I know a lot of people frown upon any other service, especially if you're attempting to sell your website. I have used Google Analytics (GA) because I do occasionally sell websites and GA is required by the platform I sell on. I also use GA because it's the most user friendly and convenient for me.

Somehow I like more older version. Now pageviews and some other stuff important for me are more hidden.

I'm using it in WordPress but you can still use it for blogger blogs. It has a website version and some plugin run it too. I use the website version since it brings everything in one interface.
