it is better for the management to all the attention to that person who might have an attitude problem. He or she might have a problem at home that he or she brought into the workforce which is not right. That attitude affects the working environment.

Smoking and introducing gambling in the workplace. I wouldn't tolerate this even in my business

True, that's totally unprofessional.but what about a situation where the workers smokes and gambles but not within the working environment, would you still let them work in your organization?

Sure that's the personal life but don't allow it imterfer with my work and you are good to go.

There are only two things that can be used to tame their employees: sanctions and terminations. The reality comes in when they were being reported and the Human Resource needs to give them the proper corporate punishments.

Management is one of the most complex aspects of management. For such a staff, I would caution with love and hope it doesn't repeat. If it does repeat, I wouid change his or her job position.

I am totally agree with you. The Human Resource Department is responsible for these people to have the corresponding sanctions, give warnings, or impose about grounds for termination. The situation is always a case-to-case basis.

If you're talking about your workers then there should always be discipline for them with regards to how they do their work so that they will abide by the company's ethics.

There are harmful behaviors in a company which management should not accept. That may include lack of responsibility, rudeness, disrespect towards co-workers, and spreading negative rumors about the company. Should an employee exhibit such behaviors, management should give serious warnings to the staff or even terminate his/her employment.

Certain behaviour in an organisation can be considered as a sort of killing behaviour, I used to work in a company where its Managing Director used to slap on his workers so I thought it's better to quit that company.

One of the behaviors exhibited by staff that are very harmful to business is harsh and rude behaviors. You would have to take the staff through a training on etiquettes of customer relations.

If I owned a business, I would not allow staff members to treat customers with rudeness. I am aware that customers are the lifeline of any business and should thus be treated with respect. To conform to this principle, I would thereby not hesitate to sack any employee who fails to exhibit decorum when interacting with customers.
