Military parades are used to show the defensive and offensive power of a country. Very often they are very impressive. Airplanes, tanks, rockets. Seeing such things up close is not easy and does not happen often. Military parades gather many people who salute the soldiers as they step down the street. Have you ever been to a military parade?

I am not into these and have never attended any parade as such but on 15th Aug is our Independence day so if I want I can check on Tv but I am not so much into to

I have been to military parades many times. They are organized twice a year in my country.

Unfortunately, it is not calm. Turkey invaded in my country in 1974 and took the half part of it illegally and it is in its plans to take all of my country.

Because it is not something new. It has always been in its plans.

Yes, we have a lot of migrants very often here.

I attended one once. I was really excited to attend one for the first time in my life. I was so disappointed. Parades are not my thing at all. I got bored quick. That plus the loud gunshot noises that made my ears ring.

I saw tanks. I don't remember seeing cannons. Not quiet sure I know what they are really.

Yes. But with guns. There was a point where they played around with the guns, swinging them in all directions.
