Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you had to lie just so you could skip work? Back then at the office a lot of our workers tend to call in sick just so they could skip work.

I work online and it is very hard to deal with stress and burnouts. However, I am still very much happy. This is because it is far much better to suffer from stress doing what you love rather than doing something that you dislike.
When you have a genuine reason to stay away from work and you know that your organization won't grant you the permission based on that reason, you would have to give them an excuse that would resonate with them. Like call sick.
I have done it before. There is a time I had to tell the organization I was working with that my girlfriend was in labour. They had kept me till 7pm the previous day and still expected me to show up the next day.
No, I have never lied to skip my work. As I am entitled to paid annual leave, if I feel burnt out, I would just take a day off or even a week to take a vacation. There's no need for me to lie to skip work.
Yes, I have ever done this. I was working in a restaurant where I was not given any break. So I would sometimes lie to be sick or any other emergency and I skip work. I didn't feel guilty about it at all.
