I would agree that some conflicts at work are so distasteful and would want to make you leave. I have had a situation like that when a colleague accused me of rape. I had to surrender myself for police investigation and was discharged as innocent but I never felt like working in the organization again.

Although I am not employed currently, but I can never do such a thing. There are instances that the management can chip in to settle your dispute among the colleagues in the workplace other than quitting the Job.
