Have you ever thought of quitting your job over low pay?

I gave up my job due to changes in company policies that affected my day to day functioning
I have thought about it once before though, and to be honest there is notting wrong with you thinking that way. The economy is tough we all need to survive. The most important thing is that you have been able to secure a better job before quiting.
When I was working in an NGO last year, I never felt like quitting the job despite the low pay. Good thing is that I was not working everyday and I was living at home and so the expenses were not much. Otherwise, I would have quit it to look for a better paying job.
Yes, I would quit the job if I were not satisfied with the pay. But before I quit, I would find another new job with better pay first.
I agree with you. We cannot afford to continue working with a low salary, especially now. At present, I am working with three companies. They do not know this idea.
When the job is paying low, it would affect your ability to afford basic necessities of life. That's why I would rather leave a low paying job.
It is a sad thing that some people cannot just quit their jobs. Although they can still have the options of finding new suitable jobs for them.
I had a meeting with my boss to ask for a raise and he refused, everything else in the economy had risen, transportation doubled the price and he refused to offer me an improved pay. I left his job.

Most of the people cannot think about quitting their jobs under current circumstances. Economy is performing poorly. So, it does not make sense to quit job. However, things could be different in case if you are not being paid well and not being treated well at the same time
One must leave a job when he/she has another job in hand. It will be a big mistake to leave a job and the search for a job.
