Hiring the best people vs making your workplace inclusive

Do you think you need to make your workplace inclusive by hiring people from different ethnical and racial communities and minorities? Or do you believe you need to hire the best people for your job and it does not matter who they are or what community they belong to? if you want to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace, how do you create a more inclusive environment?

If I am the business owner, I would hire people who are best suited to the job, regardless of their race and gender. There may be a challenge managing a team from different backgrounds. Management needs to promote an inclusive environment and culture so that workers can work in a cooperative manner.

I don't believe that the best hands for any organization can concentrate on a particular trend of people. Just utilize the method of employing the best hands and somehow by probability, diversity would balance itself.

Yes this is very true, you could hire the best worker out there, but if there is no good materials for them to work with, or a good working environment as you have said, they would not be able to give you the needed results you want.

I am speaking from experience as there was a time that I was working at a place that we are seen as the best but the working environment is just not good at all and it makes the rate of learning and production to be low.

The truth is that if you are sincere with recruitment, you would still achieve inclusiveness. It takes a really intentional effort to be carry out nepotism in business. Just don't favour any group of persons and your would achieve inclusiveness somehow.

I believe that you cannot work alone so it is better for you to hire people who have good experience about the job so that you can help you with it and you can also add whatever cota you can
