A very important way at which you can utilize to identify a smart contract is a scam is by conducting thorough research on the project and the team that is behind it. This is why it is important to look for various kinds of information about the developers. You also need to check their previous project and so that you'll be able to identify any red flags such as lack of transparency or any kind of suspicious activities that is associated with them.

I do not think it is easy to identify smart contract scammers. The only way to avoid getting scam,med is never using project that does not have reputation.

One can identify smart contract scammers by looking out for some common red flags like;
- lack of transparency
- poorly written or copied codes
- rush or limited time offers
- unrealistic promises.

As for me, if they phone number is not saved in my mobile phone. I will suspect that it is a scammer. Unless, they texted me and sent an information about them.
