Boss will also be boss. But there are others who can be humane to understand their subordinates situation. To handle them, I will simply show proof that I am sick. She would understand that. But habitual excuses, is not acceptable for me.

I can totally relate to this, i think the best approach to take is telling your boss exactly how you feel in a civilized and polite manner and if in the end there is no change, if you can't cope look for w better place to work before leaving.
