How can one work through a tight datelines in a workplace?

However, some organizations give their staff very tight datelines to complete their work tasks. How can a staff work through tight datelines and deliver on time. Have you ever been given tight datelines. How did you manage it?

Sometimes I have tight dateline but if I don't make everything I just explain situation. Worst datelines have delivery service people. They are always in hurry since employers always set to short dateline for delivery.

I can totally relate with this, in most cases the jobs are given to the superior within short notice and simply because they do not want to loose that customer, they end up accepting the job and pushing all the work load on the employees.
