How do I invest in a film.

When I hear of how much a film grossed at the box office, I am always like so all this money is returns on investment for the producer. I think investing in films is a good venture.

So how does one go about the process of investing in a film. How does one know the right film to invest and get returns?

It's not just the kind of movie that the producer will consider as it is equally important to consider the artists who will portray the characters of the movie. The actors must also be saleable as most movie goers consider first the actor before the movie.

I think you need to have good connections in the industry to invest in a film. You need to consider the plot of the film, the director and actors/actresses of the film. Also, which company is responsible for distribution of the film is also important.

As an investor in the film, are you going to pay for everything about the film? Then, you get all the revenue from the film?

Not all investments in films turn out well though, there are some who do not amount to anything reasonable in the end. But if you really want to invest in this, it would be best to get someone who is in the movie industry to put you through.
