Whales can move crypto prices either slowly, suddenly, or for long-term goals, and maybe they can also manipulate the market by moving prices to the level they want or are targeting. Of course their main goal is take profit.

Yes, whales or institutions are really the ones that have more weight right now in the ecosystem and can sometimes move the market at will because it is a still small market if we compare it with others of greater capitalization

In my opinion whales manipulate crypto by buying or selling large amount of crypto. They usually hold large amounts of crypto and so their buying and selling of crypto has a huge impact on the market.
