In my country the company's top managers are being referred to by a couple of names. It is upon you to decide on what name you call them with. For instance most people would call them bosses

You can just call them Mr. David for instance if they are young people. But a"Sir" or "Madam" is necessary if they are order people. It is a mark of respect for the boss.

The company's top managers need to be respected and addressing them should be being referred to by a couple of honourable names. Giving them respectable titles wouldn't be a bad idea

That's the right thing to do. it is good to address one's bosses especially in all correspondence with Respected Sir or madam. it shows they have been accorded the respect they need.

My new boss this time, wants her subordinates to call her through her first name but the subordinates find it awkward for them to call my boss by her first name. In my case, I did call my boss through her first name.

I guess you have to address them by the name they use most. If they use their first name a lot, use that and vice versa. You also need to address them with respectful titles like Mr, Mrs or Miss.

I listen to the name other staff call him and address him as such. Most times, the top management are addressed by their designation. It is common to hear staff calling bosses "director" or "chief".

I think it is normal for you to use sir or ma to anybody as long as you people are working together because a lot of people do that to me when I'm working even though they are very much older than me

In western nations, employees address their superiors by their first names. What do you refer to your supervisor as in your country? If you addressed your boss by their first name, how would they respond?

I believe that the way you address a company's manager is how he or she wants you to address them because my own told me to addressing him in his first name.

It depends on the kind of relationship that you and the manager have but I prefer it when it is official so that there will be no form of disrespect. That is how I treat my bosses at work

In our country if course we call our boss Sir for male and Ma'am or Madam for female to whatever kind of business it would be. That's an automatic knowledge, Young and old know.

This is also how we address ourselves in my company and this is how it is supposed to be so that it will not bring up familiarities that are not reasonable and give time for disrespect
