How do you avoid a bad person

I love to choose my friends but some bad people might still want to choose you as their friend. How can you avoid such a person?

There are a lot of people like that I'm sensitive when it comes to people they can hurt me so if I see any signs of a fake friend I leave them and you should too being alone is also sad but at least nobody is there to judge you
