How do you easily detect toxic people

I dislike spending time with toxic people as they like to gaslight or lie to people and find is difficult to apologize properly. What else do you notice about them?

I can easily detect a toxic person if he or she keeps on complaining again and again. Sometimes they are just talk without any actions.
