How do you get tax exemptions?

Here in India there are many ways one can save tax. And one such is donating to NGOs and charitable trusts who have registered under Section 80G under the Income Tax act.

I have done that several times. What about you?

In my home country individuals and families with low income are exempted form taxes. You need to earn at least x amount to pay taxes.

Even in India there are limits of earnings. The higher one earns more is the tax paid. Seniors are also exempted and their limit is higher/
