How do you keep the bank account active?

I have realized that keeping the bank accounts active indeed is a very hard thing.

I don't think its hard as long as you can pay and receive payments from it online and this way you can make it active and no issue with the freezing

You should be dropping some funds into the bank account if you want it to be active and do some transactions, even if you don't actively use the account.

In India you just need to use your account and by this means there should be at least single debit and credit from your account effected by you in 6 months

That is right, a few transactions will keep the account active. So make sure to send some money there once in a while. You can even set up a savings account there so as to make it more active.

I think the bank accounts are not for the broke people. They would disturb you on the inactivity on your account.

For me l really can't afford to make the bank account very active as l don't have monthly pay check.

I have only one bank account which is my salaried account. My monthly salary goes in this account.

In my country, as long as there is very little money in the account, it would always be active.

Ideally we should have at least 2 bank accounts because in case our 1 bank account is down then at least we can use other to make payments

I honestly do not see any need to own multiple bank accounts when one does not have the funds to keep them active. That is why i have only two accounts and i try as much as possible to fund them.

It's your choice, no one is asking you to have more bank accounts and you should prefer the way its working for you
