How do you make sure you avoid the poverty?

Yes, we should avoid spending on the unnecessary things. Also, we should not keep stock of the things as that blocks your money which you may have used it spending on other things

You should never go for impulse buying and never buy things that you don't even need at present and if you are in debt then you should pay it back as soon as possible
