How do you save monthly?

To build up my savings, I use the tried-and-true method of paying myself first. Each month, as soon as I get paid, I automatically transfer a set amount from my checking account into a dedicated high-yield savings account. Making saving a priority before spending on anything else has allowed me to slowly but surely grow my nest egg over time.
