How do you spend the monthly emergency funds when no emergency happened on that month?

For me the money set aside for the emergency would remain on the account and accumulate with the money saved on that account.

I do not have an emergency fund. I spend money from my savings. The money that is not spent from emergency fund could perhaps be sent to savings.

Well, many people would simply not spend money that month. Saving as much money as possible is good thing. So, in such cases people may have enough money in case if they face emergency in the future.

I think emergency funds should be long term, not a monthly thing. So if nothing happens that month, you can keep saving. You never know when the emergency will occur next.

You just have to keep accumulating the emergency funds till it gets to an amount that can cover expenses for at least 6 months.

I will not spend any amount of money in the emergency fund even if there is no emergency. I'll just let it accumulate because you never know what kind of emergency you may encounter and how much money you need.
