I'm a night owl. I go to bed around midnight. Get up at 7:30-8:00 am. That means, I have about 7-8 hours of sleep. In addtion, I also take a 30 min nap in the afternoon.
If I'm being honest, getting sufficient sleep is an ongoing challenge for me. Between work deadlines, family obligations, and squeezing in self-care, there never seem to be quite enough hours in the day. I often find myself staying up late to catch up on tasks, only to pay for it with grogginess the next morning. While I aim for the recommended 7-8 hours, realistically I probably average 6 hours on most nights.
