In India they are getting almost $10 for a days work even if they are skilled or semi skilled or not skilled and I would like to how it is in different countries?

They do not have a fixed price. It depends on the construction company that we are working with but the amount they always pay them is very small

Charging $20 is huge amount of money. That means it is a very lucrative job in your country

In Botswana the rates are also $10 a day. But the rate is mostly for villages. In town the rates are higher. It can go to $50 a day

I think it is about the same amount here . it just that some have the opportunity of working with others that add free lunch to the mix. So it is still good though.

I don't believe it. It is not possible to pay any labourer fifty dollars daily. Even in Europe, it is not possible. $50 is not small amount, convert it to your currency and you will know how much it. In Nigeria, $50 is over 40,000 naira. If is possible, I will find way to Botswana ASAP.

You are just converting the money into Nigeria currency and it looks big to you. it isn't the same value for those in other countries. $50 in developed countries is small money
