I think it depends on the kind of house help you are employing. you can get one who charge from $40 to $50 depending on the level of work of the person

True, for the young ones I have seen some they don't really pay, they just train them in school, feed them, cloth them and give them where to stay and a little pocket money. But these days there are actually agencies that have a standard price if you plan on hiring from these agencies.
