That's a lot. Cleaners make between $10 to $40 monthly. I'm yet to see anyone make more than that even in government establishments.

Things are different in India and I know some of the sweepers that are working for the Government means they are hired by Government and are permanent and they make around $440 a month which most of the times those working in private sector as clerks cannot make.

The amount that the sweeper earn depends on the level of job that it will be performed but on the average , they would earn $200.

Sweepers here are poorly paid that's why a lot of people are not indulging it. if you can skip the job for another it will make more sense financially than just sweeping

Same here. This is the nature of their work, so they cannot earn big. However, in my country, government employees earn more money than private employees.

Yes, this is true. In my country, government employees earn a lot of money. Of course, you need some connections to get a job in the government. Qualifications and skills are not enough.

Our local government pays them 6 dollars a day orn180 dollars for straight 30 days. They are assigned to sweep all public places such as market, plaza, streets, fishports. Others are assigned at the office building.

A lot of women who sweep for Lagos state are not educated and they are earning a reasonable amount of money.
