I think all Governments are like that. Could be things are better in the United States of America but in other countries things are terrible and teachers who can help a nation in making their future better are protesting on roads for their rights.

it really appalling that the government is very insensitive they do not care for the nation builder. it isn't easy for teachers here.

That's true it depends on the Teacher's tenurity, qualifications, trainings and seminars attended. There are many considerations to rank the teacher to the next level.

It mainly depends on the experience and the teaching skills of the teachers. In private schools here they see the skills, and how much a teacher makes students understand what he/she teaches.

You're so right, teaching skills are a must, it's considered a tool for students to understand more. But there's no school that hires unqualified teacher unless under the table but who suffers the inadequacy, the students and parents.

Some schools want to pay less salary to the teacher and that's why they try to appoint unskilled teachers which creates problems for the students. I remember we had that issue when I was in school.

@Sanjee that's bad the school may produce half baked graduates. That must be reported to the higher education office. The students suffer from shame someday if cannot do task properly or can't pass a written exam and face to face interview during job interview.

Schools here are like the business centers, they just want to get higher fees but don't want to spend money on the teachers or the infrastructure.

That's so unfair. Why isn't that school investigated? What's their vision and mission? They should send the teachers to seminar - workshops or to send to graduate schools to update and enhance their skills.

It's about every school here. The teachers are qualified but they are not competent enough as good teachers open their coaching centres as they learn better than earning being a teacher in school.

We can't blame those teachers. They need money for the daily expenses. It's not easy to deal with school administrators who lack concern to the welfare of the teachers. Teachers are the school's revenue, and the right partner in the academe.

And if they are protesting for salary hikes then this also is justified. If the living cost is expensive there and they are not able to cope up with the inflation rate then they should protest for the salary increase.
