We see different faucets one is paying Satoshi and other is LTC and another in Doge coins and these are quite so popular so I would like to know how much does it cost to set up a faucet and if is it a profitable thing?

Apart from the hosting buying the coins you would be rewarding the users would one need such an amount?
It doesn't cost nothing as hosting is just 1 $ and domain name 10 $ means that is 22 $ and buy script or get free one from faucetpay.
How about the coins that you would be handing the users of the faucets. Would you need to buy them?

I once had one but I was not successful because what I earned there is not up to what I paid users
You don't need money for script. There is many user friendly free faucet scripts on Internet. Faucetpay microwalllet share links to those compatibile with them. Just don't use those compatibile with Expresscrypto since that microwallet is closed.
