Cost of hiring a car in my country is also expensive. Ordinary van will cost you some. 50 dollars for 12 hours excluding fuel.

Why new car? New cars are very expensive and you have loan for it. Buy cheaper, older car like 10 years old car. It can still last for 5 years minimum, you don't have loan, just fuel and maintaince.

I own a car and I feel comfortable every time I go to work. It is not easy to keep on renting a car or riding in a taxi better own a car and use it with care. I hate being in traffic whenever I'm driving. It's part of the reason why I work on my driving schedule to be on the road when there's no traffic.

The cost of renting a good car in my country is really high and if you try to do it for a month, you would have spent the an amount of money you would have used to buy a small car. Renting vehicles is a one off thing for me.
