How Retired People Can Make Money?

There is a common perception that when a person retire he or she don't need to do any work he just have to rest, rest and rest and soon they realize that this bolus dose of rest causing so many illness. So whether they need money or not they all have to choose some under pressure work which finally keep them fit and they'll make some money too.
Retire people can do a lot of work as to open a small retail shop or start selling kids items so their mind will remain engage while dealing with kids. There are a lot of other ways by means of which they can earn money but they must choose here the things to which they love.

Having a small business by the side is definitely a great idea to make money after retirement. I know of some who went into real estate and after retirement they make money from their properties. Relying on just pension alone might not really be a good idea.

I also feel it's better to have some sort of business even if it's small as it can be beneficial and no one can retire them and they can work for as long as they can and definitely real estate is a good option because of the appreciation in the prices of land.

Exactly its way better, or even owning a property you can rent out is also a good way to invest in real estate as well.

Although we shouldn't bother them but in a country like ours where there is no pension no social security you need to find something so that you can have some source of earning even when you are retired. I think having even a small business will do.

I think most retired people live off of pension. However, you have indeed mentioned that that is not possible in your country. I think the next best thing would be to start up a low-scale small business, like a shop nearby - and have a young relative look over it.

I have seen many people who retired to live pitiful lives. A small business would have helped with extra income to supplement their pension for a while.

That's true. In India, most people think that they will be taken care of by their kids in old age but their kids don't and that's the reason they live a pitiful life as they have no money source in old age. That's why it's important to search for a business/job before retirement.

Yes it's important to have some sort of plan and business to have a safe future and better we start working on something that will be fruitful for us in the future like starting a small business even if it's for selling Grocery or anything.

They have the experience so it would seem better if they sta t a consultation center and also thier pension should be used to structure up apartments so people could reside in an in turn pay for rent so it an advantage at some point for them

I know some who are retired and they said after their retirement they become busy doing things they love. Some are taking part time job so that they don’t get bored. The part time job they are doing are the things they love as their hobbies like baking for friends with payment of course, driving other people who don’t know how to drive, in going to their appointments and some are baby sitting.

Some retired people also make money with their taxi. It is either they lease it out or they use it to convey people by themselves
