The internet is currently taking over, it helps you reach places you might not be able to offline. Advertisment online would definitely help your business a great deal cause the internet is something you make use almost every day.
I think that many people were advertising their business during the time of pandemic in a different manner. many soap manufacturing companies were claiming that their soaps are supposedly tested and effective against the covid-19 virus.
There are diverse means you can use to advertise your business online. You can advertise your business through email marketing, social media marketing, search engine marketing. You have a lot of options to choose from.
The most common way is to promote them using the different social media. As for me, I am only using Facebook and targetting the local groups in market section. I think it is the best way to do it for a beginner in selling online.
You can advertise on YouTube. Have a Facebook page or a company profile on professional sites like LinkedIn. You may also create your own website or do email marketing to reach a wide audience.
All you need to do is to get your business branded and then advertise you can do it online. Also reach out to people on your contact list. You could drop a bill board in catchy areas as well
When I have money I can take paid ads that exist in each marketplace. If not, then I take advantage of the free organic advertising features, by promoting products, by using videos, by using social media. etc.
Though i have not made use of paid ads before, but from what i have seen paid ads are very effective. I have seen some persons who have used it and they claim to have made sales form it.
I think depending on what product he's selling, if he's selling a good product that's in high demand in the market then it's easy for him to generate sales and vice versa. I once posted a day of paid advertising but I didn't get any significant sales. There are days when I don't post paid ads but I get a lot of sales. That's business, there are always pros and cons.
