You know customers are humans and they have their expectations even as they go shopping. So if you have consistent customers that felt their expectations are not met then you need to work on that that.

How do you deal with this;

First you would need to find out their unmet expectations

Weigh it with what the company can offer , then discuss it with the customer the length you can only go with helping out.

Then go ahead to do the ones you had agreed to do.

It's not easy to deal customers because of their unmet expectations. It's better to explain to the customer the real reason. If that person continues talking or bullying it's better to remove her or call the guard.

Yeah the thing is that customers always have expectations that needs to be met so the sellers need to look for ways to meet their needs to retain them for more sales

First of all, you need to find out what are the unmet expectations of your customer. Evaluate if the expectation is realistic. If possible, try your best to come up with an offer which meet with the expectation. If the expectation is not realistic, explain to the customer in a polite manner.

All unmet expectations should be handled diplomatically. The company should realize that they must take position that would drive away the customers. Even if the demand of the customer is unethical to the company policy, it must be resolved amicably.

One thing we have to understand is that human want is insatiable. As a business owner, you can't satisfy all your customers at once. That is why you should be expecting complaints from some of your customers. It is normal. But you should know how you are going to resolve some of those complaints diplomatically without hurting the feelings of your customers.

Surveys and questionnaires play major roles in determining the status of products.
But it is pity, such practice is not common here in Nigeria. Through survey, you got to know if you are able to meet the customers expectations.

Your customers are always the centre of focus when running a business. You must try as much as possible to meet their expectations if you want to succeed.
