Workers doing overtime and efficiently is always to the benefits of the workplace or business so you just have to motivate the workers so that they will be encouraged to do it. So how can it be encouraged

Give an enticing incentive for overtime

Pay when you promised and what you had promised as well

Provide all the tools needed to help them work promptly

Giving incentives encourages the workers to work overtime, if there is no overtime pay, they will surely refuse to work overtime. They better work online hehehe. It is also not good not to pay those workers who will work overtime. It will be against the labor laws.

Sure, it will be against the labor laws so one will have to pay workers to encourages the workers to work overtime, if there is no overtime pay nobody will want to waste such time sbd that's the truth.

You need to pay generous incentives to encourage workers to work overtime. Other than monetary reward, you may provide them with meal allowance if the workers are required to work in the evening. That said, working overtime continuously may affect the health of the workers. If your company is in such a situation, you should consider hiring staff to cope with the additional workload.

If you pay me good money, I can even work till the following day. The problem is that most organizations don't want to pay well for overtime. Is it not better I go to my house and sleep than do overtime for peanuts.

I agree with you. They need to compensate the working overtime, such as overtime pay, offset day off, night differential, etc. It should be done because it is under labor code to do this.

Three months ago, I was so happy because we received a differential. Mine was 35,000 and the feeling was priceless. I gave my two sisters 2000 each for their shopping, They were so excited and I also shopped for myself hehehe. We like to work harder if there is a better incentive like a differential.

That is what makes workers happy and inspired. Our spirit is being elevated to the next level. In the absence of an incentive for many years, people tend to disappear and find a better place where they are understood.

You are very right. Most organisations wouldn't pay well the overtime. Overtime payment rates should be higher than the normal rates, one and a half times to be precise.

In my place, there are offices that lay double for those who do overtime, but during holidays, the overtime pay is triple. But the offices also limit the number of people to work overtime during holidays.

If you owe your staff after working overtime, there's no way any of them would be interested in working overtime again in your business for any reason whatsoever.

An employee will be happy and inspired if given incentives and reward like giving 5 days vacation with the family at all costs by the company. Even 2 days vacation it would mean s lot to the workers.

Just the salary increase alone makes workers happy and inspired to work harder. If there's no salary increase workers tend to become lazy at work. They lack the drive, and motivation. They feel no reason.

It's a mandate to pay workers in time and it's not a big deal for them because they want increase of their salaries across the board. Workers have the rights to demand it
