How to handle rude students online?

I would simply just drop such a student from my class because there can't be two captains on the same boat.

I think the best way to handle them is to be assertive and tell them you don't like their behaviour. Then you can ignore them if they never listen and do your job as good as you know it.

It remain very much difficult for me to handle with rude online students, rather offline because I always complain about my students rude behavior to their parents but it becomes much more difficult to talk with online students parents, so I always remain extra gentle.
