How to handle rude students online?

I would simply just drop such a student from my class because there can't be two captains on the same boat.

I think the best way to handle them is to be assertive and tell them you don't like their behaviour. Then you can ignore them if they never listen and do your job as good as you know it.

While don't teach and I never have had any kind of rude people to deal with, I believe you can simply ignore them
