Because the data/records contain company secrets, not all records can be exposed or read to the public. All documents or records should be stored offline to avoid hacking. Only marketing information can be read publicly and disseminated using the internet.

Personally speaking, we need to have the basic knowledge of bookkeeping. It is how the role of bookkeeper comes in. I prefer to hire a bookkeeper if I have a business that is starting to expand.

Both have their advantages and as well disadvantages. Anything could happen to it offline, while online on the other hand, the system could crash or something could go wrong. Just find the one that best suits you.

Keeping business is not difficult, what you need is discipline. A business owner don't need to have a degree in accounting to keep records. I use to keep records of my business transaction. I still have debt book where I keep all the credits my customers are owning me.

In today's world, it is not difficult to maintain business records. All you need is a good software like Microsoft excel to record your transactions. There are mobile apps that can be used to keep business records. But the important thing is that every business must keep accurate and functional records

You have to find a way that works best for you. Some people are better off with an offline inventory while others can do it online. Personally, I am comfortable with offline bookkeeping. It may seem traditional but it works well if you are most at home with it.

Currently there are also many apps available that make it easier for entrepreneurs to keep their business notes such as ColorNote, PenCake, Quickbooks, CrediBook etc. But you also as a businessman can maintain business records manually.

It is so awesome that online accounting can be secured so that you don't lose it. The availability of cloud and drive is very good businesses. Business people should just remember to always back up their data in them to avoid losing all of it.

We just have to keep your records and make sure that it is not Known to people who are not in our organisations so that they are not going to steal our ideas and use them for their business
