Please do you know if Paypal requires any form of KYC? If yes, I guess that is enough to secure the Paypal account and even the verification codes too

Yes you need to keep to their terms and conditions or else you would get into trouble with them

For me l have been using my PayPal account for a very long period of time without experiencing any difficulties. However l have verified my account and added a bank card too.
