How to know when you have over staff your work place

Position of the company at times causes effect of over staff to occur. When company is producing far below its maximum output, there would be less work for workers to perform. It is then you will see scenarios where only one shift is maintained by the company. Whose fault?.

If you don't have enough market to sell the product that you have produced, I don't think there is any need for you to still be going into massive production otherwise you're going to be having excess product to sell.

Yeah a company is overstaffed when the workers have lots of idle time. this is upon the manager to always check that no staff is idle and avoid less work for some people
True this is usually common in most big companies, there you would find a lot of the staffs doing notting. Most of them usually leave the office after signing in but they would still get paid.

The only way this thing can happen in any business organisation is when the management is not looking out on how to manage their staff properly.

it is not good to over staff your workplace as some people will be idle. So how do you know you have more workers thsn necessary

When some people don't have jobs to do some days

When there are a lot of idle time for some workers than when they are engaged

Even with high absence of worker's some days the jobs are still accomplished on time
That's right I totally agree with you. Those are some indicators of too many employees at work. Apart from that, when they are fighting each other for work, it can also be an indicator of too many employees.

This is the reason why you have to evaluate the work of your staffs from time to time and understand those who are not contributing much to the growth of the company and relieve them of their duties.
