A writer can create a blog as an avenue to create passive income source.

As a writer you can work on so many places if you really want to earn as a writer you can buy a forum or create free blogs start working posting and promote your contents you can also go to upwork and bid on some writing project then complete it for cash

Running a forum is active work and generating passive income from a forum is quite not possible. I am saying this from my own experience. I have been running a couple of forums and I am unable to earn.
