Some people are motivated with team building. I am not fan of it since I don't like be to private with them. They use that at work. To many granny's at work.

Probably, salary increase is one of the best form of motivation you can give to your workers. Praising them is also another good way to motivate them for their work.

You are very right, but there are still some ways to motivate employees other than increasing their salary, you can even sponsor them on a vacation which they will really appreciate.
