How to spend time traveling long hours in bus or train?

I will travel next week 8 hours in bus. My friend traveled 14h hours in train. We need ideas how to spend time during those travel hours. I don't plan spend all time o smartphone. Since we travel at night book will not be possible read plus I don't read books.

Give me some ideas?

Since you do not like reading books, you can play some board games with your friend. There is a great variety of board games for adults to choose from. My favourite ones are chess and snakes and ladder.

I have not been on any journey like that in many years and it's not easy but we can make ourselves busy by listening to music, watching movies on mobile, chatting or talking with the other passengers

Thanks for ideas. Board games is not easy since you don't have much space.
Talking with other passengers is not many good ideas if you travel during night. Ok can do that in breaks.

For long journeys, I like to pre-download some TV series or movies on Netflix to keep me entertained while on the road and prevent boredom. I also enjoy listening to music.

In local buses long distance travel is made easy as they show movies. One can also listen to music and look around too Some just sleep.

This kind of thing is usually different for most people. For me I always make sure I have my earphones with me so I can listen to good music or watch a movie.

I just get a book to read when I am on such journeys. It can be so boring if you don't go with your mobile devices or books to keep you company.
