Https version of website is blank

I have uploaded the index.html page for a website. However, when I try to access the website using the https:// link, it is giving a blank page . What could be the reason for the problem and how to fix it? Has anyone on this forum faced a similar problem? This is a simple static website

What platform are you using. Check the primary url where you uploaded the file to and where it points. You can use a redirect from where it displays to the https version of your domain to see if it works.

Usually index.html is given priority, in this case the index.php was being displayed, so I fixed the problem later changing the file name.
