In production, last month we had lots of defects so we had to increase the checks in the process.

One of my colleagues who makes monthly reports of the department was preparing the report for the last month. He is not good at writing in the English language and wrote in one of the slides.." monitoring to be closed" in place of " increase monitoring". Our boss laughed at it and said you all are not serious because you want to close the monitoring of the processes and increase defects this time also.

It was humorous for us but the person who made the report felt humiliated.
